• Played on intramural volleyball teams while in college at Pepperdine University
• Coached at Santa Fe Christian - Middle School Girls Volleyball 2002, 2003
• Spike Fest 12's Champions 2006, 2007 and 2009
• Solana Beach Volleyball Club Coach 2003-2011 for 12’s Local Elite Level Team

Laura Lukens has been with Solana Beach for eight years. She obtained an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine in 2001 and followed up with a master’s in education and professional clear teaching credential. Laura currently resides in the small community of Mission Hills with her husband and four-year-old daughter Anabelle and newborn daughter Ava. Her coaching expertise and competitive spirit have brought home several Spike Fest Championships for SBVC in the past few years. Laura will be returning to SBVC for her second year as the Local Level Coaching Director as well as coaching the 12-1’s local team once again.
