  • 2004 Blossom Valley Athletic League Champion Coached women’s JV summer camps at Piedmont Hills
  • Assisted in Northern California with off-season training and try-outs for Piedmont Hills High School.
  • Played competitively from 5th-12th grade.
  • Solana Beach Volleyball Club coach 2009-2010 for 13’s Local Level Team

 

Amy Nguyen is originally from San Jose, California and is the oldest of three children in her family. She recently graduated from San Diego State University in 2009 with a degree in Anthropology, Communication, and Sociology. Amy is also a proud parent of two beagle puppies, Coco and Wall-e. Entering into her third season with SBVC, Amy is passionate about teaching fundamentals and sharing her love for the game with her team. Her personal motto is “Love life and be brave.” We are excited for Amy to be taking one of our 12's local teams this season.
