• Coached at Rio Mesa High School, Oxnard, CA as boys high school volleyball coach Sept 2007-Dec 2007

Genavieve is originally from Oak View, Ca. She recently settled in Oceanside. She began to love volleyball the moment she began playing at age 11. As a 6th grader she was the youngest on her team and by the 8th grade she helped lead her team to a 4th place finish at state championships. In high school she was looked to for leadership and voted captain 2 years in a row. She received both all-tournament and coaches awards for her performance during the seasons. After high school she began to focus more on coaching and lead her teams to city league championships each year. She currently coaches the Mission Vista J.V. team.  Genavieve is studying to get her NASM certification as a personal sports performance trainer. In her spare time she likes to do yoga, ride her bike and run, she plans on completing her third half-marathon in January.
