- SBVC 16-1 team finished 7th overall in 2009 at Volleyball Festival; SBVC 17’s team finished 37th overall in the Open Division at AAU’s in Orlando in 2011; SBVC 18’s team in 2008 finished 17th overall at the Volleyball Festival. 15’s team in 2009 were the Silver Medalists
Summer Vicknair enters her seventh year with SBVC and will be taking on the additional role of Assistant Club Director. She brings a wide range of experience in San Diego county including coaching high school, club, and officiating at the high school and collegiate levels. Summer has an impressive record with Solana Beach Volleyball Club, coaching all her teams to a winning record. Her 16’s team in 2010 placed 7th in Gold Division at Festival and her 17’s team in 2011 finished 37th overall in the Open Division at AAU’s in Orlando. She has a law degree from USD and she and her husband have a 1 year old daughter Riley and another daughter on the way! Summer will be continuing her winning streak this season, taking the 18-1’s national team.
